This course introduces the basic principles and practices of MIG welding. Participants will gain hands-on experience and observe demonstrations focused on key techniques, safety, and operational protocols. Topics include proper equipment setup, material preparation, weld quality, and process control. By the end of the course, learners will have a working knowledge of MIG welding applications in manufacturing settings and an understanding of how to safely and efficiently use MIG welding tools and materials.
Skills You'll Gain:
- Operating MIG welding equipment safely
- Understanding MIG welding techniques
- Identifying weld quality and issues
- Preparing materials for MIG welding
- Applying MIG processes in manufacturing
Note: Materials are included in the price of this course; however, participants are required to bring their own gear. Here is the list of required equipment that students must bring with them to the Stick Welding class:
- Everything that they used in the Introduction to Process-based welding
- Welpers or wire cutters
- Welding helmet
- MIG style gloves
