This course introduces students to the basic principles of stick welding. Through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on practice, participants will explore proper safety procedures, personal protective equipment, power sources, consumables, and techniques used in manual and semiautomatic stick welding. The course covers weld types, joint preparation, arc characteristics, and key limitations of stick welding processes. Students will apply this knowledge using actual welding equipment in a safe environment to build foundational skills in stick welding operations.

- Everything that they used in the Introduction to Process-Based welding
- Wire wheel for 4 ½” grinder
- Welding helmet
- SMAW style gloves
