HVAC and Construction   

The OSHA 10-Hour Construction Outreach Training provides basic safety and health information for workers in the construction industry. The course focuses on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of common workplace safety and health hazards.

The HVAC Maintenance Technician Bootcamp is a 110-hour hybrid training program designed to prepare learners for entry-level roles in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) industry. Delivered by experienced faculty and industry professionals, the bootcamp combines online asynchronous instruction and in-person hands-on training. 

This program is ideal for career changers and individuals seeking to apply for entry-level roles. The program provides foundational knowledge, technical competencies, and workplace readiness. Learners will gain practical experience, prepare for certification exams including OSHA 10 and EPA 608, and develop the essential skills required to succeed in the HVAC field.

This course equips safety professionals with the skills to write clear, effective, and compliant safety policies, programs, and procedures. Participants will learn key principles of technical writing, document structure, and editing techniques to improve clarity, accuracy, and consistency in health and safety materials.

This comprehensive leadership development program is designed for new and emerging leaders in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) industries. Running from November through April, the program equips participants with critical business, financial, and leadership skills necessary for success in today’s competitive environment.

The Contractor Academy Scaling Program is a unique six-month program that combines hands-on classroom time, group interaction, discussion series and one-on-one support with a dedicated industry professional. The program runs from October 2026 through April 2027.

The objective of this exclusive program is to provide senior-level leadership and management participants with the tools, insights and skills needed to scale their business. The program is limited to 15 participants, which allows extensive collaboration and exploration while offering the time and space for discussions with peers on today’s real-life challenges and opportunities. Start with the basics in this comprehensive blueprint reading and construction estimating course. You’ll explore drawing scales, how blueprints are organized, and how to reference information across construction drawings. Learn to review architectural and engineering plans, interpret specifications, and connect them to quantity-takeoff cost estimates. Analyze estimate components, perform takeoffs, and price estimated quantities. This course emphasizes the need for thoroughness and attention to detail while preparing estimates and strengthens your understanding of how drawings relate directly to quantity surveying and cost forecasting.

Start with the basics of blueprint reading, beginning with drawing scale. Lessons guide you through how blueprint drawings are organized and how information is referenced across construction documents. You'll review architectural and engineering drawings and project specifications. Learn to evaluate similarities in documents submitted for permits, understand the role of 3D model presentations, and gain the skills to read and comprehend both residential and commercial documents. Develop fluency in the terminology, document inter-relationships, and takeoff connections used throughout the construction process.

Coming soon! Prepare to work safely around hazardous materials with 24 hours of HAZWOPER training. This course covers hazard recognition, personal protective equipment (PPE), decontamination, emergency response, hazard communication, and essential workplace safety practices.

Coming soon! This course teaches participants what they can do in emergency situations until trained responders arrive on scene. Participants will learn through presentation, demonstration, and hands-on exercises. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a First Aid/CPR course completion card.
